This year Face to Face will be part of the Saint Paul Art Crawl taking place the weekend of October 14, 15, & 16. Art created by youth at SafeZone and through art therapy will be on display and for sale throughout the Art Crawl at The Java Express, a new coffee shop in the Union Depot (see hours below). All proceeds of sales will go to the youth artists. Cash or check only!

The weekend kicks off with an opening reception at the Java Express on Friday night. Please join us:

In addition to The Java Express, we want to thank the Lowertown Coalition and CapitolRiver Council for making our participation possible. Many thanks also to our arts partner COMPAS for co-curating the show. Face to Face partners with COMPAS to promote youth having opportunities for creative expression. Our work together includes linking youth with paid art apprenticeships and bringing visual and spoken word artists to SafeZone drop-in center on a weekly basis. Our collaboration with COMPAS is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation form the arts and cultural heritage fund.
